Up to Date at Staffordshire County Showground

Showjumping Team

We are very ambitious for the team of horses at Lowton. The majority of horses here are homebred or purchased as youngsters.

The aims for the next few years are to produce our young horses through the UK system to become consistent performers at International level in the future.

We also have plans to travel to many International shows with the more experienced horses.

Our breeding barn is the home to several of the horses that we previously campaigned in the higher levels including Gitta, Dusk and Varadox. It is an exciting time for us as we now start to work on the next generation and build a new team.

Get Involved

There are several ways in which you can get involved with the showjumping team at Lowton.

*We take in horses to produce on behalf of owners, please see our services page for full details of the Competition livery package.

*Partnerships with stud farms and private breeders- we are also happy to talk to you about a more cost effective way of having your young horse produced by going into partnership with us to produce your horse. For further details on this option please contact us via email in the first instance.

* Shares/syndication - a more affordable way to get involved could be a share or syndicate in an existing Lowton Stud horse or new horse. Varying degrees of involvement are possible from 10% shares to 50% ownership. Please contact us via email or call us for information on this option.

The Future

At Lowton we are passionate and committed to working hard to achieve our goals.

We are lucky to have a great infrastructure at the stud farm and are continually working to improve the facilities for our horses.

We have a beautiful indoor arena , International standard set of Showjumps, sand and fibre outdoor arena, 2 all weather turnout pens, well fenced grass paddocks, a TheraPlate and have many more developments in the pipeline.

The dream is to create a world class training facility for horse and rider here in Shropshire , and to breed and produce horses to the highest level that we can.

Our list of goals is too long to mention but as we begin the Lowton journey and embark on what we hope will be an adventure as we pursue those goals we invite you to follow our progress in Alex's Blog (link on the homepage) and to get involved if you wish!

If you would like to get invloved we would love to hear from you. Teamwork makes the Dream Work afterall!
