Well it's been so hot the last few days that I decided to take the time to finally create the Lowton Stud website! The horses had an easier time as it's been 31 degrees in Bondleigh.

My first blog post is mainly an introduction, I'm Alex, I'm the proud owner of Lowton Stud along with my family and I'm the one that you will hopefully see in the videos of the horses competing that will be uploaded as we get out and about..If you see us out at a show please come and say hello!

Lowton has been a labour of love since we moved here a year ago, it has been an uphill battle but the restorations are starting to take shape and we are so proud of what we've achived in the first year.

Our breeding programme has slowly been getting established and this years foals are really special. 

I'm so excited to see what we can create here at Lowton and to see how our team of young horses progress over the next few years. 

For the moment the biggest project is ongoing building work and the restoration of the outdoor arena due to take place in the Autumn.
